The COVID -19 Primary Care Taskforce have released their latest update expressing concerns about reports of bulk vaccine exemptions being issued by some Doctors and warming against this.

The 20 October  COVID -19 Taskforce  update:

• reminds Doctors that there are very few situations where  medical exemptions for vaccination are warranted.
• warns against  bulk exemptions being issued and warns that they will refer practitioners with outlier patterns to regulatory bodies if this is appropriate.
• reiterates that there is currently no COVID-19 booster vaccine program beyond those who are severely immunocompromised.
