It is our understanding that EOI for Practices to join the vaccine roll out program is still open. This particularly the case for regional practices where there is locally limited access to vaccination sites or where Practices cater to large numbers of culturally linguistically or ethnically diverse patient lists.

Practices would initially be offered AstraZeneca, opportunities to deliver Pfizer may be available as supplies increase later in the year.

To join the roll-out, practices must:
– Meet the site requirements; and
– be accredited or undergoing accreditation, or participating in the National Immunisation Program.

There are currently 5,100 Practices participating in the vaccine roll out. 3,500 of these have expressed interest in obtaining a Pfizer allocation.
