Following successful representation by the AGPA and other medical lobby groups the Australian Government will provide some consumables for the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The Phase 1b on-boarding pack states:

The Australian Government will provide vaccine administration products to practices in line with the number of AstraZeneca doses delivered. These will be provided at the same time as your vaccines and includes:

• 3mL syringes
• 25mm needles (appropriate for most adults)
• Sharps waste disposal bins

If you have trouble obtaining additional ancillary consumables, contact the VOC to discuss as there may be available stock that can be ordered.
